Great Spotted Woodpecker (male) after waiting on a cold sunday morning for 2 hours I was rewarded by this male woodpecker. He has often been present up in the canopy above my feeding area awaiting the right moment to feed safely.I set my feed station up one month ago although the main visitors are mostly from the smaller breads i.e blue tits great tits long tailed etc there's a male Blackcap also turned up on sunday with male and female Bullfinches in the back ground hopefully they will become confident and feed aswell.
